Texas Youth Ballet is a boutique ballet conservatory caters to dance students with a desire to build a strong classical technique, improve their strength, flexibility and fundamentals, and excel in both their skill and their artistry.
Levels do not reflect those of other schools, but of training geared toward the professional standard. Our audition is also a level placement class.

Ballet Fundamentals
1 - 3 years of training (not including pre-ballet) - 2 hours of ballet, 6 days per week
9 - 11 am M-F (10 am - 1 pm on Sat.)
5 week - $675 | 3 week - $405 | 2 week. - $270
Intermediate
4 - 7 years of training (pre-pointe) (not including pre-ballet) - 5 hours a day, 6 days a week
10 am - 3:30 pm (early drop-off available)
5 week - $1800 | 3 week - $1080 | 2 week. - $800
Intermediate/Advanced
6 - 12 years of training (not including pre-ballet) (2 years or more of pointe) - 7 hours a day, 5 days a week
10 am - 5 pm, Sat. 11 am - 3:30 pm
5 week - $2250 | 3 week - $1400 | 2 week. - $920

Application Process
Audition Fee: $20
Auditions: March 15, 2025 - 12 - 1:30 pm - Beg/Int (pre-pointe), 2:30 - 4 pm - Int/Advanced (pointe)
April 26, 2025 - 12 - 1:30 pm - Beg/Int (pre-pointe), 2:30 - 4 pm - Int/Advanced (pointe)
Girls: Black leotard, pink tights and shoes, Boys: White shirt or leotard, black tights or leggings, dance belt, white socks, black or white shoes.
Hair in ballet bun for girls. Please bring the following photos (or email beforehand) headshot, passé rétiré en face (arms en haut), first arabesque.
Video Application
Video Audition deadline: April 26, 2026 (video should include the following barre and centre work: Barre:pliés, tendu, degage, fondu, rond de jamb, frappé, développé, grand battement. Centre: Adagio, Waltz w/pirouettes, petit Allegro, Grand Allegro, Pointe (if applicable) Echappés, Passé rétiré with turns or balances in rétiré. Advanced only: arabesque rélevés, 4 consecutive in a combination right and left.

Scholarships

Housing or Boarding
Housing is available on a limited basis through host families at $500 per week, and 20% off through our lodging partner Comfort Suites of McKinney/Allen on N. Central Expwy north of White Ave.
Payment Plans
A $45 registration fee is non-refundable.
Equal Payments will be drafted on March 20th, April 20th, and May 20th, with any remainder due June 9th.
1-week sessions may be taken with permission, but a single 1-week session is not adequate or recommended for progress in technique.
